Strawberry Banana Green Smoothie


This is one of my go to smoothies for most mornings (usually busier ones). It tastes like heaven. Even though the color is super green, you can't taste any of the spinach or spirulina. If you pre-freeze your banana, strawberries, and spinach in zip lock freezer bags early on in the week, it makes this an almost effortless breakfast - the mason jar just makes it more fun.

Ingredients

- 1/2 frozen banana

- 1/2 C. frozen strawberries

- 1 C. frozen spinach

- 1 C. unsweetened cashew milk (or other nut milk)

- 3/4 C. cold water

- 1 tsp spirulina

- 1 scoop vanilla plant based protein powder of choice

- stevia to taste

Steps

1. place all ingredients in blender; easiest to put frozens in first and liquids last

2. optional: top with granola and coconut flakes
